about to hit 90k miles

Hey guys so my 335xi is about to hit 90k miles, I was wondering what would you guys suggest to do maintenance wise to keep this car going like new. What fluids y'all think need to be replaced, etc. any input would help.

well, what have you done? Have you followed the maintenance schedule? There is no need to just start changing things unless they are due or overdue. I would watch for your water pump to fail soon, so plan on that and a thermostat. Also, check for oil filter housing gasket leaks and valve cover gasket leaks. Might want to do an intake valve cleaning if you haven't.

Absolutely change the tranny fluid. Although you've let it go so long could be risky moving the sludge around at this point.

I asked my dealer for a tranny flush a while ago but he said I didn't need it. Should I do it anyways

well, that's the problem. BMW says the tranny fluid is lifetime. What that means is the lifetime of the transmission, so when the tranny dies from bad fluid, that was just the end of its lifetime!

It is good to change it, but you run the risk of killing it by changing it late in the game.

I changed the fluid in my transmission and transfer case at 50k miles.
