Nice Robert! Good stuff. IMHO, the video doesn't do the sweet sound justice!

Chris, for sure. The Akrapovic was definitely awakened by the downpipes! I'm curious to how the catted ones sounds with the Akrapovic.

We weren't able to obtain sound clips from the catted downpipe install we did last Friday. Next time he is here we will be getting a sound clip, but let me tell you, it does sound great!

I heard them both side to side- one at a time last Friday. It wasnt exact science with DB meter but I personally felt they both were the same loudness with Markos (catted) sounding slightly less deep than Alan's (catless).

But that is just my opinion and there were others there including Grayblack and PTJohn.

So catted one sounds deeper??
Sounds like the route I am going is the exact opposite of what I want

Here's a comparison video, thanks to PrimeTimeJohn.

Pretty much the catless has a sharper tone. It crackles and burble more when you let off the throttle. I haven't heard the catted ones under load, but with the catless, the pops/farts during shifts are more like shotguns. Loudness, I say IMHO the catless is 20% louder. First car in the video is Catted vs second car is catless. They are both Akrapovic.

They both sound great. You can clearly hear that Alan's car is slightly louder but I used my headphones. Vic which one would you choose if you bought one.

Catted sounds better to me. More "tuned" and not just noisy.

Ok this is my opinion and it will be based on what I heard with the Akra exhaust (which I dont have)... I would get the catted version- its slighly less deep and carries a little more exotic clean tone to it. Im not saying the catless is bad- this is my subjective call. Oh here is the other main part for the catted install; no CEL. I cant drive a 110k car that constantly lights up yellow warnings. It would drive me nuts as I need the CEL for warnings when there really is an issue. The crying wolf would kill me.

This sums up my thoughts as well. A cleaner pre meditated sound so to speak.
