M3 control arms vs shocks/spring?

Which mod will I "feel" more on an 08' E92 w/ sport package?

Ultimately I'm looking to give the car a more sporty feel without making the ride to harsh. I was leaning towards Koni yellows with H&R springs but I keep reading about upgrading to M3 arms. Searching I haven't been able to find a good technical explanation on how the arms significantly improve the handling?

Also I feel my car has noticeable body roll compared to my last car, a 350Z. I was initially thinking of going after this first with a new set of sway bars but this seems like a very unpopular mod on the E92. Is there a reason? Thanks

to answer one of your questions, m3 arms add negative camber, which improves handling. m3 arm bushings are firmer which makes steering feel more responsive.

Modded my first 335 with springs, struts and sway bars, and made all the difference in the world. Unfortunately I did it all at once to save on labor costs so I cant say how much each individual component did but in the research I did on sway bars and the end result, I would say they are a pretty big help.
I had the eibach pro kit with the konis and hotchkis sway bars, was a very good setup, handling was much better but without sacrificing too much in the comfort area. If you are going to do all of them eventually you may want to consider doing them at one time because (and I may be wrong)I remember to do the rear they had to drop the whole backend and that can be costly $$$ doing it more than once. At the time I got it done the M3 arms were not out yetso I di not get them.

^And while you are there do m3 subframe bushings. By themselves a big improvement.

I went with KW V1 and M3 arms up front. I figured I'll see how the car feels and then add sway bars after if I think I need them. I do all the work myself so install cost is nothing (other than alignment) plus I consider turning wrenches half the fun.

I read this all the time and plan on doing it in the future but even with 60K on my car I dont feel like the rear end is all that sloppy. Maybe once I tighten up the front it will expose the issues in the rear.

The front control arm kit is immensely better because of the added negative camber, thicker arm diameter, better design, and better bushing strength. You will notice a CONSIDERABLE difference in turn in feel and response. In terms of body roll and pitch, the front control arms won't help at all.

In terms of what you can get for 1k, the best and most quality option is Koni + swift. Without camber plates you are looking at around $1400 for the setup (including tax). This setup GREATLY improves handling and eliminates a lot of body pitch and roll (you still want some). You can always add camber plates later.

I do feel like this topic has been beaten to death and I do get paid for responding but just look through the first few pages of e90 and 1addicts.
