Waiting... Waiting....

What is everyone doing to ease the excitement while waiting for their cars to get here? I am going absolutely crazy

... as is the rest of my family/friends/work... waiting for this car to be done. It will be done with production June 6 so I still have a long wait!!!I have been calling the 800 number 2-3 times a day. Any tips???

Go to your dealer and test drive once a week.

I've been doing that over and over for the past three weeks. They're fed up of me, but at least i get my adrenalin dose and then i'm good for another week. But i only have a week or so until i pick up.

This is what I do....read and discus issues on e90post.com for days.....thats the way I've been coping with waiting. My girlfriend prays that I get it already so I just shut up about it. Apparently I talk about it all the time. If you wanna do test drives every week, I would go to a different BMW dealership and test drive there, so your current dealer won't get fed up with you and he won't know how much you want the car(So you have better leverage come negotiating)!

Haha, yeah. The people close to me were getting pretty tired of me asking them about colors so I shut up about the car after I finally placed the order.

But the wait is even more excruciating now! I can't believe I still have another 4-5 weeks before I can drive my baby. Its enough to make me cry. I call the number once a day and I'm on the boards a couple times a day to relieve the pain.

... and here's another poor soul waiting patiently for his to arrive. I prowl through 4 boards several times a day, look at owner's circle and call the 800 number. Mine's in production with an estimated completion date of June 7.

I think we need a 12-step program for E90 wannabe addicts :-).

that's the same for me... checking forums, watching pics, reading the manual...

The cruel thing is that my car is just 3km away in the garage of my dealer for over 1 week now - ready to be delivered and everything... but I will just get it on June 1st!

After placing my deposit on May 10, I had to wait until May 17 to pick up my car. Could have had it 2 days earlier if I chose SG but wanted titanuim Silver so the dealer had to do a trade. Got exactly what I wanted. Ohhh the wait was so excruciating
