Fix damage or new rims?

I scuffed up my front right rim pretty badly this morning. That curb didn't know what hit it. Not sure if I should get it repaired or just buy a new set. Any thoughts?

Just scuffed?? If so repair but if you're talking a bend.....Replace

It's pretty deep scuffs. Nothing too major, I was backing out of a parking space, so it was low speed. I couldn't bare looking at it for too long, so I don't know the full extent of the damage. haha

Any idea on price

Go for a fix or restoration. The east coast has quite a few wheel restoration experts, its worth it and will look better than new. Even if bent and cracked, this is always a much more inexpensive alternative. (Unless you really want to upgrade to a different rim and size.) Then its just a great excuse!

What kind of problems could I expect upgrading from 17" to 18"?

Any recommended brands I should look at?

Just get it fixed. In Atlanta, it's usually around $150 for minor damage. At least that's what I've paid several times for minor bends/curbing due to living in the city. That price included taking the tire off and remounting.

I've realized that most places charge about $125/wheel for full restoration (bent/cracked/painted). then again... most replica wheels can be had for about $125-$200. Kinda makes it just easier to replace rather than repair.

Can't really tell from the front wheel picture just how bad it is, looks like the rear wheel might have a little scrap as well.

I'd say replace if you were interested in keeping the same size wheel, because then you wouldn't need to buy new rubber. If you're thinking of going 17-18, then obviously you'd need new rubber too, so I'd factor that expense in which case I'd recommend repair

I fixed all 4 of my oem wheels... it was way easier than I expected, and they were scuffed bad. I just watched some you tube diy vids and worked on two at a time. Cost me about $30

I usually fix them on my wife's car, pretty easy, just some bondo and sandpaper and Wurth Silver Wheel Paint as it is a 100% match to oem silver wheels.

This is assuming you don't have something other than OEM silver, not gunmetal or hyper silver, then you have to get them done professionally.
