More OpenFlash stage 1 OTS datalogs

I finally got around to getting some datalogs tonight and I wanted to post them up and make sure everything looks ok. I have a 2009 335i xDrive coupe with 40,000 miles and an automatic with the Alpina trans flash. I have catless DP's, deleted secondary cats, BMS intake, and VRSF FMIC. Temps were in the 60's with low humidity at sea level. I was using Shell Vpower 93 octane.

1st log is third gear from 2000rpms to redline

second log is 1st gear brake boost to 3rd gear redline

Thanks to Shiv for all of the How To videos. They are a huge help.

Can't wait for e30 stage 2 maps

Those logs look beautiful. And I really appreciate you viewing the logs with the default set-up configuration/scaling. Makes things so much easier for me to analyze! Timing is beautiful. Boost control is great. Throttle is nearly perfect. In fact, the only unintended throttle blade closure is during your first gear launch (post brake boost) where I see a little hint of wheelspin. If you had a RWD car, it would be A LOT more obvious

Thanks. I will keep the logs coming when you release more maps. I will also get some 1/4 mile slips and since i am in New Jersey the #'s should be good. (elevation) On a side note I am having a strange occurrence when I give the car 1/4 to 1/2 throttle cruising at 40-70mph or so I get a strange jerking or hesitation that happens like 3-4 times as the rpms climb. It almost feels like a transmission slip. Any ideas?

Hard to say really. Would be easier to troubleshoot if you managed to capture it in a datalog. Partial throttle stuff is always harder to troubleshoot because it's hard to keep your foot stead at partial throttle

Second log shows some overboost and throttle closures as you approach redline in each gear.

Throttle closure during shifts normal if you let the 6AT shift itself (ie, not short shift).

Here is a datalog from today where it happened 3-4 times in a row on the same acceleration on the highway

Have you had a chance to look at my logs from the email I sent? Any ideas?

OP: what tune did you have before and how does it compare? Have same car (e92 xi AT) and nearly same mods as you do.

I had a cobb accessport and ran stage 2+, E30 map, and Pro tuning freaks pro tune(Jake) It is very difficult to compare the Cobb and Open Flash Tablet. Cobb has had many more years of development and firmware updates. On the hardware side of things they both flash the car and improve horsepower and torque. The Cobb wins in simplicity of flash, speed of read and write, and features. OpenFlash is not hard to use its just not as seamless and fast. (it will be with future updates) I loved the Cobb E30 maps but the stage 1-2+ were far from perfect. Out of the box the OpenFlash OTS stage 1 maps are smoother, more responsive, and just overall better imo. (not as fast as the stage 2+ and e30 cobb maps because they are for stock setups) I imagine that when the next stage OFT maps are released they will be even better. Support for both devices was excellent. Overall winner at this point is the Openflash tablet due to the price/performance improvement ratio. I have yet to run the quarter with the OFT since I am waiting for the next round of maps for full bolt ons and ethanol.
