x5 wheels on an e90
has anyone on here put x5 wheels on an e90,are they a straight fit no problems my car is a 2006 320d msport which is not lowered and possible wont be , any advice would be great I have searched but nothing came up.

For fitment, they are wheels like anything else. Pay attention to diameter, width and offsets and make sure they fit. You'd obviously have to change the tires for rolling diameters equal to what our cars were design for.
Beyond 'will it work', its not really a good idea. Most X5 wheels are 20" or larger. 20" will work but you will be forced to put incredibly low profile tires on, giving you a harsh ride and increasing the risk of damage when driving over road hazards. It will also compromise handling and fuel economy a decent amount since the rims are generally much heavier. |

Why put such heavy things on an otherwise sporty sedan/coupe? I guess I'm coming from the other side of the wheels aisle.
