Can Connectedrive be coded?

Hi done a bit of a search but Im still not sure.

Have a N55 2010 3 series with pro media and combox (USB connect, bluetooth, office etc) but no connected drive.

Is Connectedrive just a software update or do I need some more hardware?

Thanks in advance for help

Matt

just an update mate, coding only required if you have combox, depending on software version you may need a code.

on the CIC menu under options there is a choice of software update, choose that then it has an option for software versions.

Thats for combox compatibility firmware.
For CIC, take it to Alpina527 or bring it to me.
We'll read the files of your CIC and inform you what software you have.

Matt
Take the CIC out of your car and note the date printed on the Right hand side of the CIC and send it to me.
It will help me to give you an idea what you require.
Thanks.
