Display of License Plates
So I was doing some research on the DMV website for CA. I took a look at the section below:
V C Section 5200 Display of License Plates It says that if you were only given one license plate, then you would have to put it in the rear. So it's saying that you wouldn't need to put it in the front since you didn't get one. "(b) When only one license plate is issued for use upon a vehicle, it shall be attached to the rear thereof , unless the license plate is issued for use upon a truck tractor, in which case the license plate shall be displayed in accordance with Section 4850.5." Reason I bring this up is cause I got a new f30 recently and DMV sent me two plates. But if I do get pulled over, I can just say they only sent me one and lie about it lol..

I believe if you "lose" or only got one plate, the DMV makes you surrender the one and re-issues you 2 plates. Somebody could correct me if I'm wrong, but it also depends on your local PD/CHP if they're sticklers on front plates.

ah i see. yea if the cop is a stickler, then its up to him ha.
