Headlight problem
Just picked up another e92, and I noticed something odd about the driver side headlight. The aim is so incredibly off and isn't adjusting when u try to aim it down. Never saw anything like this before. Also, that same side, the angel eye doesn't work occasionally. One day it's on, the next day it's off with a bulb light on the dash. Anyone ever seen this before and know how to fix the xenon? I'm hoping its a diy type of adjustment or else it's off to the dealership.

It honestly looks as if something has come loose or broken off. You might have to actually pop the lens off. You might be dealership bound otherwise.

These headlights have to be "baked" open. I would highly recommend not doing it yourself due to the massive risk of moisture and condensation getting in there after you put it back together. I would take it to the dealer personally.

Do you get the AHL error? I have the same issue except my light is stuck to the left (on drivers side). I occasionally get the AHL error, looks like its the module underneath the headlight it self, whole bumper needs to be removed.

Only error code appearing is CC-ID 378 which is for the angel eye bulb, the adaptive headlight appears to work or at least somewhat work, it's hard to say on the left side |

I opened mine up, and found a separate problem. Check this thread out if it turns out not to be the servo ball joint.

Figured today I'd give this headlight repair a shot and it turned out to be the ball joint popped out do the socket. I popped it back in and that was all she wrote lol. A little time consuming with the disassembly of the headlight and the whole bumper but it was well worth it! So glad I was able to fix this, thanks to those who posted links for the DIY repairs. If anyone has the same issue with their car and needs advice or questions answered let me know!
