So without the help of my unreachable dealer, I found out that my car is on the Toledo and is due into NYC on 12/16. I just might get my car before Christmas. Thanks for all the info on the site that enabled me to hunt down my car.

Just checked the website and the Toledo got pushed back a day, so now it's getting in on Saturday the 17th, instead of the 16th. Everyday counts at this point. I just hope it flies through the VPC and gets shipped from NJ to NY in a day or two.

That's a good question. The way I figure it, if it gets into port on Saturday then hopefully gets into the VPC the same day. Sunday they don't work, so maybe a day or two to process it there. I don't know how long it will take to get to my dealer from NY/NJ, i'm in Brooklyn, probably only like a day. So the bottom line is I'm banking for a week from now if everything goes smoothly.

All I know is that the Cars should be off of the Toldeo and getting prepped. Hopefully we will have it by Wed.

Really?? Wednesday?? The 800 number is still saying In transit. Have any of you spoken to your dealer and gotten any information? My car was discharged Sunday off the Toledo so I'm hoping it can get through the VPC quickly and shipped out.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up but I can't help it....it seems so close. These last few days are the hardest, especially not knowing for sure when its coming. Hopefully my dealer will give me a heads up tomorrow.

My dealer said his computer shows the status as "Final VPC." The 800 number now says "awaiting vessel." I asked him what the chances of them getting it this week and he said that it would have to show up as "Dealer inventory" on his computer by tomorrow for any chance of it coming in this week, otherwise next week. So now I'm getting the feeling that it's not going to happen this week. Damn.
