Why does my suspension make noise?
My car is an 08 328I. I bought it a month and a half ago, it has about 77.5K miles. When I go over large bumps or curbs, the suspension makes a sound like the shocks are letting air out.
The suspension seems tight and isn't too bouncy, so I was wondering what's going on? I plan on replacing my suspension with coils soon but wanted to get a feel of what's going on.

normal operation. To do their job shocks pass fluid through small orifices at high velocities. I believe you are hearing this. I have noticed this on my own car and on others.
