Several German sources (not official ones) are attesting to a very strong market demand for F34s since roll out. Particularly xDrives are hard to come by in European markets, with ~4 months waiting time for a factory ordered car in Germany right now. The US market seems to get some preference.

As much as I love the 3GT, I find that somewhat surprising. Looking forward to our new GT. Now 9 days to go.

When I signed ED papers last week my dealer had this 328GT on the lot with the same color combo that I ordered (Imperial blue with saddle brown leather). Came back reassured that we made the right choice.

I ordered my on 8/31. Dealer said mid-October is the best case but, due to demand, end of October is the most likely delivery date. Can't wait.

Btw, Estoril blue is the color, man! (335 GT M-Sport)

The inventory my local dealer is getting doesn't seem to be lasting very long. I saw they got a white sport-line in this last Monday and dropped by to check it out today...it sold yesterday. The other one I test drove a couple weeks back has already sold as well. Glad I got my order in early for my December ED. I'd be glad to trade my M-sport 335gt xdrive to a German for a same-specced RWD allotment...too bad it doesn't work that way.

I was expecting that somebody here in the US would make that comment.

Germancarnut, has your GT been built yet? I have an October 2nd ED but, when tracking on the BMW website, status is still "Order Documented". Hope they get it on the production line soon.

The production process is set-up for it to be ready just in time to avoid having to keep the car in storage too long. Our car didn't start production until a week ago for a 9/16 ED. You should be fine. Good luck with your ED!
