Is this part only on E92?
I just got Ohlins R/T coilovers and installed them with new OEM tophats and also did my buddies ST coilover install on his E92 and he has a black metal ring on his top hat (Not referring to the gasket) and I cant remember if mine had this metal ring on them when I replaced the struts before the Ohlins or not...been to damn long LOL!! My Top hat didn't come with it and from the E90 pics I can find it seems they do not have this metal ring...maybe this is a E92 thing?
