335i Lci Updated: replica M3 fenders, shadow line, fog delete...

Hello guys, i have made some changes to my car since i bought it, just posting to share them with you.

AS IT WAS WHEN I BOUGHT IT:

AS IT IS TODAY:

fog delete ala 335is

Now i need some wheels, i am thinking forgestar f14s, but M359 an Breyton Race GTS also float my boat... Comments, opinions and recommendations about the wheels welcome!

Honestly I think OEM rims are the way to go maybe 335is or m6 reps

Lookin' good!

Did you get the is ducts installed behind the grills or did you just put the grills in? If you did how did you mount the drivers side one?

Love the new ducts. Not a huge fan of the M3 fenders though.

313's need a BBK to look good and m6 reps are the most overused wheel design ever!! I prefer csl ir Y style wheels as you can see from my initial selection...

Thanks! I installed the whole thing, 335is airducts, trim, and actually, i also installed the extra water radiator that goes on the driver's side.. So the support for the duct is there.

I actually like the fenders more and more every day...i think that it finishes up that nerve that goes across the Car nicely... In the original fender, it simply "finishes"... Let me illustrate...

Did you have to have your windshield washer fluid tank removed also?

Also your hood and fender line up alil better than mine but then again I have aftermarket hood too

Where did you get those fenders from?
How much? Any modifications for fitment?

Well crud! Not sure I want to go that far. I may just leave the duct out and only put the grill in on the drivers side. If I could fabricate a bracket to hold the duct in the right place that would work too but I have no idea what the dimensions of the radiator are.

It is exactly the same as the extra oil cooler that is located on the passenger side, the position is mirrored.

That M3 ref fender looks good on your E92...Are you planning to do the rest of the front?

Thanks! No, i don't want an "M3 replica"... just the fenders, the reason being, as I said before, because the side gills finish that side nerve in a much nicer way than on the ones we have... Also the M3 light blinker is nicer, but the nerve ending was the dealbreaker for me. And before i ordered the fenders i sourced the stickers with only the ///M for the blinkers... i wouldn't put an M3 sticker on my car...

The only problem is that the outside trim is just a line in the middle, so if you don't install the duct it would leave exposed the insides of the bumper, because once you remove the foglight trim there is nothing there...

Yep. I went ahead and installed everything yesterday. I just left the duct out. I don't think there will be any issue. It looks fine so I'm not too worried. If I ever get the second radiator I can always throw that duct in.

Thanks for the input.
