Normally Aspirated vs Turbocharged (Chris Harris)

Over the past number of months there's been a seemingly endless debate over the merits of of NA vs turbo cars and what the new turbo M3/M4 means to the brand.

Today I came across a sublime video of Chris Harris wringing out both the F40 and F50 on a circuit and I could not help but draw parallels with the pending regime change.

I've personally chosen to remain optimistic regarding the upcoming powertrain and perhaps this video will sway one or two folks to a glass half full perspective as well. Failing that, it's a sick bit of footage.

Enjoy!

Very nice video with some good E92 <-> F82 analogies. However, quite off in many respects as well, particularly:

Turbo Ferrari is the older car
BMW will likely deliver a very lag free M4
Fit and finish will be comparable in the E92 and F82
Newer Ferrari has significantly more understeer, not likely that the F82 will

Welcome to weeks ago. Old news. F40 was turbo charged, but that doesn't translate to BMW necessarily being better off with a turbo. Apples and oranges.
