No 335i....final decision???

Anyway, the S5 looks amazing with a capital A!....I want performance so, i would opt for a 335i but if it were only the looks, definitely a S5!

Aesthetically, the S5 > 335i E92. Performance wise 335i E92 > S5 and the RS5 (?) M3?

We'll have to wait and see how much faster/slower the RS5 is than the M3.

You do realize that the S5 will be ~ $800/mo. or higher on a ~ 3-yr. lease (w/ $$ down), right? I'm just saying, b/c you "kids" have lots of pipe dreams. It's supposed to be ~ $60-$70k w/ some options; my wife's MB GL450 has a MSRP of $73k, and it's quite expensive per mo...that S5 isn't too far behind.

Nice car though, but for the $$, I think I'd go for the E92 M3.

Yeah, for about $100k more, and you still won't get a better job when you graduate. Sorry, but UM is just not that impressive; it just shows you or your family have plenty of $$.

I've also tested the S5 and honestly it's an awesome touring car or just for cruising around, interior is superior, but no bolster adjust so that kinda suck. I'm only 5'6" so I like it snug. Rear seats is shit, Audi made the trunk bigger and give passengers no legroom even with me in the front. So other than the rear seat legroom, power, and price tag (if stupid Audi let you have individual options like BMW and starting with a lower price tag I'd be all over it). Maybe in 2 years when they work out the premier bugs I'll grab one.

I saw one here yesterday. It was in front of me about a block. From the rear at a distance I thought it was an AMG. Got closer. Good looking. Better live than the pic's. It was a dark gray with red leather. Handsome car is how I would describe it. A little sport a little elegance....

I WISH THAT CAR WAS THAT CHEAP ON A LEASE... I would be driving one right now. They want anywhere between 1050-1300 for that car.

Ha ha..wouldn't doubt it. I'd say the E92 M3 might be around the same $$/mo. or maybe less...and that, my friend, would be worth it. Yeah, I love these kids and their pipe dreams; they're driving $500/mo. 325's and 328's and they think that suddenly, they can get into a $1,100/mo. car. Unless they're living off their trust fund or mommy & daddy are making the payments, I seriously doubt most 17 and 18-year-olds will be driving a car that expensive. At least it's something to strive for after they graduate college and work their tails off for a few years though.

Some have pipe dreams and other are like myself. Im 19 and am very serious when it comes to my money. As you can see from my last post i wish i can get an s5 but in reality i cannot afford the premium but that just makes me try harder and look forwards to bigger and better things in the future. I have a 335 now(whell not right this second lol next week). And had many nice cars in the past all on my own. But like you said yes pipe dreams some have. But in reality everything is possible. This is 2007 now, not the old days when a kid was suppose to be a kid. We grow up too fast now a days.

Please explain how you have had all cars on your own. What does that mean? They were paid for and you maintained them?
I appreciate your enthusiasm and motivation. My e90 was purchased by my parents. Granted is was a 325i, but it really doesent matter in the grand scheme. The S5 will be my first car purchase and i will be using the 325i as collateral, since its already paid for.

I just appreciated your post because i feel like i just got to the next stage and i know where your coming from.
