BMW noob

Hello, well the wifey has decided in getting a new 335i sedan after looking around. I had wanted a 335i coupe. But, I'd rather not buy two of the same car. So I was thinking of getting a E46 M3 instead. I've always liked the E46. I guess my question is, what year is Laguna Seca available? Is there any difference between say the 02-04's? I currently have a 05 GTO, 98 Type R, and 06 Evo. How is handling and reliability for a daily?

Thanks.

Also - Laguna Seca is a quality color choice.

LSB is stock color to year 04.
I personally love that color before, but glad I found Steel Grey instead.
IMO LSB is a love it or leave it color, so think of for it for resale.

same with phoenix yellow
