Thank you both guys, sorry for the late response. Moving has been a nightmare and so has connecting the internet. I actually moved to the west new york area and will be working in the DC area. Ha ha ha ha well i can see why my dealer was trying to sell me on the xdrive so badly lol, every BMW in the area is xdrive; well i do need some winter tires as well. Thank goodness my GF has a nice SUV with all wheel drive. Thanks again and if there are any meets or bunch of you guys hanging out please lemme know. All the best

Welcome bud!

Snow isn't as big an issue as people make it out to be in the major metro areas: they start cleaning the streets when it starts snowing.

I don't recommend driving on summer/ performance tires though - big no-no!

except when they all said screw u bloomy and let 2 ft of snow fill all the streets in the NY area and bloomy did jack sh*t

@F30nynj no kidding that's cool bro, yeah I'm sure one of them is me lol all this street parking freaks me out a little lol, one of the guys in my complex just traded his older 7 series for a F30. Yeah I'm off 56th, I see a lot of nice BMW's in the area. Thanks for the welcome

Yea, I park at a private driveway cuz street parking ain't my thing and esp finding a spot on weekends is impossible.

Welcome to the forums & area! There used to be couple if meets in Edgewater but I guess the cops started to drive them away. There's an FB group for Tri-state F30 or something which hosts meetups and bear mountain runs.

should do a NYC meet like all those M3s did few months ago...believe they just rolled through NYC and stopped and took a bunch of pretty nice photos at times square. I have yet to take my car into the city, but def would for a meet or shoot!

If we keep the numbers to a minimum like under 10 then maybe. Also my f30 is not worth taking to a rally cuz of no MODs. I don't even have a Xenon.

yes I did notice and as odd as this may sound I wouldn't mind a parking ticket for a meet like that. I work for the city maybe I can talk to them before they give them out lol. most likely they wont care though

I'm totally down for a meet please keep me posted guys; as far as tickets no thanks lol, that was part of the reason i got a new car from a different state. I had about $1300 worth of street sweeping tickets from LA and OC counties lol

Wow some beautiful cars, man i need to ask one of them for a loan. My F30 is bone stock lol, trying to save up for some exterior mods and maybe some lighting mods when they become available. I do miss my acs type 8's, i knew it was a good idea not to mount them before moving here esp with old man winter lol. Ahhhhh common summer so I can pull them out from the closet

Never forget how beautiful it was, my dad is a Nissan man was always trying to beat off the surpass and 300 z's when I had the 7. 350 z great car though, my neighbor had one was a fast workhorse
