Service Items within Warranty Period

My car is still in the first 4 years' free service period. I drive only 8k per year so I'll get annual oil service.

My questions is, should they do more than an oil change? Things like air filter, cabin filter, etc. Should I expect more?

Just picked mine up. Asked for an oil change - got HPFP, plugs, wipers, intake silencer (?).

Google Mike Miller BMW for a maintenance schedule.
If you are keeping the car a long time you might want to
do something like what he lays out or closer to it.
Air Filters are and easy DIY.
I would change out all the lifetime fluids at around 60k
if you are keeping the car a long time at least.

I drive my 328 roughly same/year as you. During my 'Free' Maintenance 4 yr period I got:

(2) Oil Changes (I changed my own oil in between @ 7500 mi)
(4) Cabin Air Filters (1/Yr)
(2) Wiper Blade Changes over 4 yr (I asked for one of them)
(1) Rear Rotors/Pads/Sensor Replacement
(1) Brake Fluid Flush
Check/Fill Up WS Washer Fluid per visit (woo hoo )

And that would be it

And as soon as the free part ran out, they tried to sell me an extended Maintenance Plan for $2500

Basically, their 'Free' Maintenance Plan is big friggen joke - unless you use your car as an OTR truck & rack up a ton of mile/yr

I will do all my own

Oil Changes @ 7500mi - OEM filter+Castrol for $68/ea
Cabin Air Filter-OEM 1/yr for $35/ea
Wiper Blade Change-OEM 1/yr for $45/ea
Already changed out both Front/Rear brakes with ESC Slotted/Crossdrilled Rotors/Akebono Ceramic Pads/ATE Hardware/PEX Sensors (with NO annoying black dust)
I could do my own Brake Fluid Flushes (every 2yr) - but will prolly take to local MB shop (which is cheaper than BMW & 30mi closer to me)
Buy best WS fluid @ a whoppin' $3.50/gal
Air Filter is K&N - so I will clean/re-oil as needed
