I love my CA
I'm picking up my 2014 328i M sport this Saturday and just received an email from my CA about the grills(He promised to make sure I get the sport line grills). Here's what he wrote:
"Your vehicle is done PDI, but I am afraid that I can not change the Grills, because with the 2014 model, you will have to remove the front bumper in order to remove the Grills, which will avoid the BMW warranty. Please let me know if this is ok with you." I find it doesn't make any sense and it is such a lame excuse he's giving. Now what should I reply back? |

Changing the front grill voids the warranty?
Wow, that is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard. Your CA should be fired if that is really what he/she is saying to you.

Reply back with "I invite you to read up on the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act. When you have finished, please let me know when I can come pick up my vehicle. I have copied my attorney and BMW North America on this email. Thank you and I await your response"
PS: I picked up my 2013 M-Sport with the blacked out grills and there were no changes in the way these go on from 2013-2014. He is 100% lying

I wouldn't say he's lying, he may just not know what he's talking about. A lot of salespeople will talk out of their ass when they don't have an answer.
