F15 xDrive35i X-line in Dark Graphite

Posted these in another thread, but thought I'd start a new one in case anyone is searching for Dark Graphite pics. Test drove this yesterday.

Xdrive35i X-Line with Cold Weather and premium packages with black SensaTech interior (sorry, didn't take pics of the interior), Fineline wood trim and oddly, 1 door panel with Aluminum Hexagon (only available on M sport), appears they rushed some of these demos out the door so be mindful of any decisions you make based on demos, could be a little different than what we can actually order

No problem.

Is it weird that I look at my 335 in the background every time I look at that last pic of the X5 (front 3/4 pic)? Man, I love these cars...

Pics are wonderful.

Only thing bothers me with xLine are those black wheel arches. I don't understand what value it adds to a premium priced line. Only standard and xLine comes with black wheel arches and not the body colored ones.

at least in dark graphite, its hard to notice them but in rest of the colors its obvious.

You know...it's funny because I was thinking about an xLine in Mineral White and part of the appeal was the contrast the black trim against the white. I actually don't care for all of the body colored stuff on the Msport as much.

Agree 100%. I went with the xLine in Mineral White because I liked the black wheel arches, running boards, and bumper trim against the light color paint. To my eye, the xLine looks longer and leaner than the M sport and Lux trims. The black trim should also make the white cars a bit less "girly" (for lack of a better term).

I saw a black Luxury trim X5 yesterday at my local dealer and I think the xLine will be much better looking when I finally get to see it in person. The lack of contrasting trim made the X5 look too thick and chunky and made the 19" wheels look very small. The 19s on the xLine look fine to me by comparison.

If we don't see any pics of light colored xLines in the next few weeks, I'll post pictures from my PCD.

I have to agree there, on a white car, the black trim does break up the white a bit. I did like the white painted trim on the M sport I saw in mineral white, but on an x-line with those dark wheels, I think the black would look better. A black grill instead of the silver would also look great on a white x-line.

I also saw a white luxury line and the painted trim on that car make it too bland because the fenders aren't flared nor contrasted, I think it needs to be one or the other, otherwise it looks longer and flatter to me.

I can understand the appeal of both though.

well evaluated. In the perspective of looks, I think one should consider both color and line. I will not buy xLine with white color. The money doesn't justify the looks. You would rather stick with standard so you can get black kidney grills.

Well, there are people who likes black exterior with black kidney grills with black interior with black shadow line trim. Possible.

for me, Sparkling brown with xLine or Alpine White or Space grey with M Sport.

Yes same for me, the contrast is quite appealing and is (uk weather) very practical and rugged too.

Great looking combo and if I was in fir the F15 the one I'd go for.

For anyone looking for more pics, cars.com seems to have more and more cars with photos listed. Not many with real pics, but there are some out there and has been more each day this week so far.

Wish they would offer the black headliner on the x-line.

Hello Chrisny, thanks for sharing!
Those headlights are standard Xenon, right?

I absolutely love those rims, according to me they are the best ones available on the new X5.

Correct. If I recall, the car only had premium, cold weather, and one other thing, but not lighting package. So just the standard LED ring / xenons
