Picked up MY2014 335i Msport line today.

Ended up with quite a nice deal and a good monthly payment.

Old MSRP: 53,325
New MSRP: 53,525

CA said he can't add option credit with the old locked-in price. Both Invoice and MSRP go up, so the payment difference on a lease would be very small. I took it up the way it was for the new price.

Selling price: ~$49,900 (I think this very very close to invoice for a custom ordered car, Includes MACO and Training)

Incentives:

1. Ultimate Drive Credit: $1000
2. Option Credit (MY2014, October): $750
3. Selling price after incentives: ~$48,150
4. Loyalty Cash on 3 series: $500 (came off drive off)
5. Turnkey (3 series incentive, while turning in my current lease car): $500 (came of drive off again).

My original driveoff was : ~$1910

I had put a deposit for $1000, and basically ended up getting another $1000 in incentives for the drive off (#4 and #5 from list above).

Dealership owed me about $90 after incentives, and they took that as cap cost reduction. I paid $0 today at the delivery time (kind of an amazing feeling paying nothing )


MF: 0.00125
Residual : 60%
Term: 12k/36 months
Monthly: $585.00 including 8% sales tax for my city in California.


I think I got a very sweet deal. I have good relationship with my CA, and the dealership in general.

The Finance Manager was joking that I have piled up so many incentives. I ended up putting credit card for remaining payment before I questioned about Turn Key and took about 15 mins for them to ensure they got it right and how it would be applied.

Reprinted the lease contract with new numbers. Then I had that $500 savings too! Very professional and honest.

Lease Return Process:

Got dinged for additional miles on returning lease. The guy at lease return was awesome, he said we could charge for some small bumper rubs (they were visible to a trained eye without even looking underneath). Kind of scrapings. BUT since I was jumping into another, they let it go. Also suggested I call BMWFS right away and get 16c a mile discounted rate.

YES you can do it at the last moment (does not have to be 4 months in advance always).

My car was in near pristine condition (will post a few pics of that too).
