What makes you think it doesn't look promising? I'm hoping to be on the Bishu Hwy as well - car is at the port waiting for a ship.

per my CA-- on Tuesday he said "its been assigned to a ship, but system doesnt say which one"..as of yesterday, he said no updates to that status..so im just assuming it wont make it....for my F30, I know it waited at port 12 days before getting on a boat...so im not sure what to expect here.

also when did prodcution finish for you?..and when did you get to port?...

saw your other posts---looks like you got done 10/19...I got done 10/18, and was at port 10/20..so you are maybe a day behind me..have you heard anything new from your CA?.. I'm looking at the Bishu right now on web cam..still in port.

I've not heard anything since yesterday. As of then I was at the port, no other shipping information available. It looks like there are a few ships that would leave after the Bishu Hwy. The Tarago is on its way to Bremerhaven and is scheduled to arrive on 10/25 and depart again on 10/26. The Texas is scheduled to depart Bremerhaven on 10/28 and the Integrity on 10/29. These are all headed to Baltimore, so not sure how it affects you.

my port is Brunswick, so its either Bishu, or wait another 5-6 days for the next one..which sux @$$


cross your fingers...I see tugs getting close to the Bishu Hwy, and ramp closed---she should be leaving soon.

ship is going to zeebrugge currently. after that it will go to southampton? then my stop halifax?

Let me know if you hear you are on it... And I will as well-- per the BMW rep on the 800# as soon as the car is "checked in on the ship" the system would show that-- he said they would know before the ship leaves if it made it ...not sure what to think of that-- but that sucks so bad if true--

Will do. I emailed my CA soon after I saw the departure. Will let you know what he says.

Congrats! - According to my CA, i'm still waiting on a ship assignment. Looks like I'm one step behind you - as we were thru the production process.

The good news is there is another ship that leaves tomorrow that eventually gets to Baltimore, the downside being it's a week after the Bishu gets there.

Yay me too! Apparently my car arrived at the port the same day it was loaded on the ship! Perfect timing I guess?

I just wonder how long it takes when it arrives in Halifax to make it to my dealer!!

apparently this ship is still showing docked at Southampton, but the WW site says it departed on the 26th--- not sure what is going on--I see quite a few car carrier ships just circling in the English channel (including the Bishu Highway, which my car is on)--hopefully its a system error thats showing this, and not them really going in circles due to the huge storm in that area the last couple of days...this sucks!

can anyone verify?

Yep many of gt the transatlantic ships will likely wait for the hurricane to pass before
they leave the harbor .
Mine is also on the DJ and I guess it will be 1-2 days late
Same happened last year with Sandy when my M5 was on the boat racing Sandy to NJ , boat got diverted to Baltimore .
Guess I am causing natural disasters when I buy new cars

if they wait for it to pass--I wonder why marinetraffic is showing quite a few car carriers just going in circles in the Channel--when they are so close to land....why not just go doc?...and these are only car carriers--the other tankers/cargo ships are moving just fine... I'm just hoping its a system issue and my boat is moving--- she left Southampton on Saturday afternoon--but is still just showing going in circles not too far away?!!

Just checked WW, the ETA has been pushed back a day, says nov 5th now for Halifax

Yep it just left Southampton at 5pm ET and is now on its way to Hallifax ...
