UK Service Pack and service intervals

I have a 2014 model year, M5 LCI. I purchased the service pack on purchasing the car.

The selling dealer described it as a 5 year pack, at point of sale. The brochure says 5 years (attached) and the website says 5 years. http://www.bmw.co.uk/en/topics/owner...ngoptions.html

However, on giving the key in for the 1200 (to a different dealer group from that which sold the car), it only says 4 years service pack. I will take this up with the selling dealer, but anyone else have a similar problem?

On service intervals the NBT is telling me 2 years, 20k miles for the next oil service. From LCI, I thought it was 1 year, 10k. (see attached). Or is that just for US cars?

depends on how much fuel goes through the engine, my old car needed its first service at 15K

Hi

I have just order my M5 and like you took the service pack. It clearly states and I was advised that its 5 years OR 50,000 miles, whichever comes first! Unless the dealer meant to say 4 full years left as you have started the first year. Anyway I agree - go back to your original dealer and find out what they meant as I would be interested in outcome given I may have a similar issue next year.

Cheers

Selling dealer says 5 years commencing on date of first registration. They have sent me a screenshot from the pre-historic DOS based system that BMW UK (AG??) uses to show the spec of the car and it shows 5. They say no issue it is 5.

The key still says 4, so will ask the servicing dealer again when the car goes in for the M wheel, M pedals and reversing cam retrofit.
