I have a peake research R5 fcx3 with a obd port plug, on the later vehicles and to be compatible and work you need a connector at pin 7 on the OBD port on the car which my has, the peake cable I had supplied with the odb connector plug has no 7th pin? if anyone has a peake research code reader for the later models 2000-2007 could they have a look at the pin configuration on their peake obd plug to establish if the they have a connector on the 7th pin as I think that I have the wrong cable.

I have now resolved the problem!
