Brembo BMW Performance Brakes

I seen them in some publication but can't seem to find any information on them. They were red in color and 6 piston front and 4 rear. I believe I also read 1' bigger in the front and rear vs msport.

If anyone has any incite into any of my above statement please enlighten me. Thanks in Advance.

Brembo makes a BBK for the 328. It'll cost you about $8k. The m-performance brakes are 4/2 and manufactured by brembo. Answer your question?

I would've guessed Brembo bbk would be $3500 ish for the front and $3k ish for the rear... So 8 isn't that far off.

I stand corrected. However with labor it's pretty close. fwiw, Rich has the best prices around I would have done stoptech had they offered rears for the 328.

So, the bbk(6/4 setup) is only available for the 328?

And the m brakes manufactured by brembo the 4/2 setup comes with a standard rotor or the dimple rotor?

Sorry not up to date on the options/availabilty.

The 6/4 aftermarket Brembo kit can be used with any model. As for the 4/2 M-Sport/M-Performance brakes, the M-Sport comes with the standard rotor and blue calipers; the M-Performance comes with the slotted/dimpled rotor and orange, yellow, red or blue calipers.

I'd say there is some benefit to it, but you won't notice it on the street. In that situation it is just eye candy.

Thank you for the clarification. What about the F32?

Also the m sport brakes are a $650 option right?

How much are the m performance? And can you get them factory installed or port/dealer only?

Just to recap and clarify. There are 2 or three total setups you can choose not including stock?

1. M Sport Blue caliper(4/2) standard rotor - brembo

2. M Performance multi color caliper(4/2) dimple rotor - brembo

3. Brembo threw BMW caliper(6/4) type of rotor????

Sorry just never had this many options directly offered from bmw.

Thanks in advance

Those are actually Brembo Aftermarket options. The fitment is shown for the type of brakes you already have

Oh I understand now, I misread your question.

The 6/4 option I don't believe is offered by BMW at the moment, only the 4/2 M-Performance option (Which is made by Brembo).

The M performance sport brakes are heads and tails better then the stock 328 brakes. When I get a loaner I can't wait to get back in my car.

No worries.

SO, the rotor diameter on the 335 m sport and m performance are the same. One rotor is plain Jane and the other is dimpled and slotted. Are the calipers(dimensions & construction) and pads the same other then colors? I'm just trying to really get down to the technical details.

Thanks

Yep. The calipers are all the same between M-Sport and M-Performance. Color is the only differentiating factor between them.
