Monaco Blue Debadged

Well, took the 5 minutes today to debadge my car. I didnt want to at first, but recently, its been nothing but a pain to clean in and around that area of the trunk. So to help me for cleaning purposes, I took it off today. Here are some quick pics... A before and 2 after...

There are still 3 visual cues that my car is a 325i. $10 to the person that can find all 3 of them. (one of which is not displayed in these pics, but shown in some of my previous pics...)

Dental floss behind the letters. Goo gone and a little elbow grease to remove the residue left. Wash and wipe the surface when done... Literally took me 5 minutes...

If you use a heat gun, you can pull the letters off with no dental floss and no residue.

Heat gun or blowdryer sounds like the way to take off emblems. For you, who are looking for that European look or disguise your 325i. Sounds pretty darn cool

I have seen very few pictures that really capture the color well. For some reason, it doesnt show up all that well. Its somewhat similar to sparkling graphite. With SG, you often get a purpleish/blueish hue (especially with all the angles and lines on the E90). Cameras dont really pick up on that either.

Yes, there are days where it does look black. On some sunny days, it looks much much brighter...

Thats why I like the color. Sometimes has the elegant dark color look, and sometimes it can be quite colorful.
