1/4 Time from Atco Raceway tonight
Went to Atco tonight to run my car and was happy with the results! 2013 335i xdrive with MPPK 8AT 18" 400m w/ oem all season tires. Each run was in Sport + I also used the paddle shifters shifting at 6k rpms.
Best E/T: 12.965 Best MPH: 106.50 Best 60': 1.817 When Motor Trend came out with an article with the same set up they posted a 13.0 @ 105mph so I was hoping to at least match that time. I was skeptical that they may have pumped up the numbers. 12.9's not bad for a grocery getter

nice times! did you have to do a burnout before the run? is that normally required? i would feel embarrassed if i had to do it and messed up and not put up smoke lol. did you hold the traction control for a few seconds on sport+ til you saw the dsc go off?

Thanks! No need for a burnout since its an awd car and impossible. The point of a burnout is to heat up the tires for increased grip. Typically you'd want a drag radial similar compound tire and a rwd car. Not the end of the world if you messed up people do it all the time. I just pushed the button to sport then one more time for sport +

1.8 60ft is what had you breaking into the 12s. Describe your launch technique(rpm).

we just took my wife's stock right off the floor 2014 335 Gt to the track - cut a 13.45 with 104 and a curb weight of 4010 = expect to be in low 12 next spring with a couple of mods - pretty impressive for that car - I race a 13 mustang GT and am mid 12 with minor mods. That bmw could end being a bracket beater for sure - never live it down with wife may have to go Nitrious.

Thanks, the AWD is great just look at those 60' times, I had traction off and was told by some guys at the track I was still spinning off the line. Those oem runflats will be gone soon, will be interesting to see if I can improve with wider and sticky tires.
