Rear sunshade
Can someone tell me if they have had any experiences with the rear sushade on a 3 series. I am considering it on the M3, however, I don't want a cluttered look when it's extended or retracted.
I tried a search and didn't find anything. I plan on tinted the windows also, but I still like the idea of totally blocking the view through the rear window. |

I had it on my m3 e46, I also had the tinted windows and liked the idea to totally blocked the inside view, although it is intended when you dont have tinted windows I ordered it again for my e92 M3, it looks nice and when it folds you cant even see where it is, it folds nicely into place and looks good when extended, if you dont have it youre gonna have an empty space in the dash where the button goes (I like to see that nothing is missing), but overall it is a nice extra

I have a visual for you
This is a pic I took of the M3 roller blind at the recent Sydney Motor Show. |

I can concur with the positive comments. I had it on my 06 330i and loved it. Very clean and neat and not cheap feeling or looking. I don't think anyone mentioned it yet but the thing I really loved was the whisper quiet operation of the rear power shade, fast and damn quiet, was too cool. Worth the money easily if you ask me. But before you tint, try with just the shades. I was satisfied with the shades only and no tint...my 2 cents...

I had it on my E46 ///M3, and I have it currently on my '06 330i. I will be ordering it again on my E92 ///M3. I love the sunshades...................especially because I hate tint.

I appreciate all of the comments and the photos. I missed the opportunity to get it on my 335cxi, but I'll definately option it on the M3. Thanks.

No problem! And on the sedan, you get sunshades built into the two rear doors as well. I keep my sunshades up 95% of the time.
