Can you lower your car standard suspension

Got a friend that has a F30 335i and he want to improve the look of the car just lowering it a little, he wants to reduce the gap between the tires and the fenders, he is not interested in improving handling, jus looks......
So the question goes if its possible to lower the car just replacing springs without having to change the OEM shocks?

Don't mean to be an asshole but . There must be at least two dozen threads covering this subject.

Yes you can just don't expect a great ride or for the shocks to last too long

I know the answer depends on what type of driving conditions the car is subjected to on a regular basis, but are we talking months or years???

Where the F30 is concerned, probably less than a year. On an M3, who knows!!?? The shocks on my '11.5 E92 M3 were in great condition after 2.5 years on H&R Sports.

Do you mean the shocks will suffer the new springs?
It is a daily driver 99% urban driving, we have no super highways down here, is more for the looks than for performance
