Success adjusting WGA rod
I was able to adjust the WGA rods. Attached is a picture. The hardest part is getting your hands in there. I just took a look and captures a mental image then used feel to find the nut and the slot. Not really that hard. Neither item was particularly tight.
For the slot I used a little 4mm wrench that I set against the rod and moved until I could feel it going in the rod. After that I rotated counter clockwise until I felt that the slack was gone. For reference the picture is for the turbo that is closest to the passenger side, and the rotation orientations are based in me laying under the car, head the the back. In the picture the rod adjustment nut is facing the front of the car. So far no more rattling.... Last edited by MZWIE; 12-07-2013 at 01:02 PM.. |
