lock in holiday cash?

my car is at the port awaiting a vessel and i'd like to lock in the 1250 holiday cash for december. my CA is a reputable one that gets mentioned a lot on this site, but said i can't lock it in. has anyone else managed to lock in the holiday cash this year?

Yep. I locked in holiday cash, but I am taking delivery of my car on Saturday.

awaiting a vessel still? you arent going to make it for delivery before the end of the yr...I doubt you can lock it in.
