Looking at purchasing this 335i coupe.

I believe the previous owner was a member here. He had a sticker on the window with this website so I'm sure he was. I would like to come in contact with him or at least get yalls advice. I have always loved BMW and have never owned one. I sold my 2011 GM Denali duramax last week and I'm in the market for a new vehicle. I want power and lots of it. Was looking at trying to find an M5 but I saw this deal and it sparked my interest. My sister has a 2013 335i coupe and I love it so I know I would absolutely love this one. With the mods listed on the website, is it really an M3 killer? I love the color combo especially. I'm concerned with the amount of miles though. Thoughts on the mileage? Thanks everyone in advance! Here is the link.

With those list of mods it is certainly faster than an M3. This is assuming all mods are working fine and nothing is wrong.

THAT SAID...

95k miles? You've got balls!

You sold a 2011 GMC Denali Duramax, so you should have plenty of money in your pocket to buy something a lot nicer than a 6-year old BMW with almost 100K on the ticker. That's not even talking about all the silly modifications.

You're right. But I would like to keep it that way. I like having plenty of money in the bank haha. I'm getting engaged next year so I want to have that money for other things more important. I have since changed my mind to this M5 I found. I'll post the link. http://www.ewingautosplano.com/VehicleDetails/certified-2006-BMW-M5-Sedan-Plano-TX/2133862213 how about some advice on it instead? Does anyone know the owners username of the 335i I posted?

For $28K, you can find yourself a nice BMW with a CPO warranty. You seem to be looking for nice BMWs that are quite old and have a lot of miles. That's always a very risky move.

That is a lot of miles. I do not know a lot about those particular mods. But for 20-25k you can find a 2010-2011 335i with most options (minus m sport) and with under 35k miles. Might be a nice project/car to have where you can mod it yourself over time?

This is the type of car a nineteen year old kid finances for five years and then spends thousands and thousands of dollars maintaining it over that loan.

Stay away. Looks nice, but you know it was driven hard and there's no getting around the fact that it has 95k miles.

As long as the turbos were replaced within a reasonable amount of miles, the engine is solid. I wouldnt worry about the miles. Great price for what it is.

Not a smart decision on the 3 or 5 series.

Almost 100k miles. And it probably wasn't driven very delicately. Be careful.

3 series is out. The M5 looks brand new. Has all the service records too. I just want something luxurious fast and cheap. I'll be getting a warranty. I could buy a GTR if I wanted....but I would rather have that money in the bank. I guess I'll be ignorant and buy an M5 with 68k miles. Thank you for everyone's reply.

Garage List
I would have to agree with most on this forum. If you find a 335 that has been mod'ed there is a 99.9% chance it has run hard a lot. best bet is to look for a non mod 3 and that way you can do what you want to it
