Warning lamps tonight

On the way home tonight, about 10 min. Into my 45 min drive home I get this warning of E BRAKE, DTC, ABS, and TPMS indication that goes on and off. I have taken my tires off with the TPMS and put snows tires on with out TPMS back in November. Wondering if anyone has had the same problem?

Driving in the snow? Could be a covered wheel speed sensor.

The TPMS error will always come on when there are no sensors in the wheels, but it can take some time...think 10-12 miles is about normal. On my last car, it took about 15-miles, but it was a different brand.

+1

I've also had this when the steering angle sensor gets out of whack. Happened to me after a rough railroad crossing. If so, you can reset it by turning the wheels lock to lock while parked. I think you have to restart the car after doing it too, if I recall.

I don't think so, I too have no tpms in the rims of my snows. When I changeover, the warning comes on in a matter of minutes, maybe 2, not 10+ miles.

The warning lamps described by the OP would turn on in the event the vehicle stalled and was moving--that's one of the cases, I'm sure there are more.

It could be your battery getting weak? The electronics on BMW's are very sensitive to low voltage!

Here we going again.

it didn't happen this am, when i drove the car to for about 45 min, mostly county back roads cover with snow, temperture in the 20's. Got to work with no issues ..

This afternoon about 4:00 pm, started going home, about ten minute in to the trip. I happen again, this time it was a three ring circus, the tach and speedo where going zero to max, mpg and fuel gauge going up and down. Service light flashing on and off, brake flash Amber and red, ABS, DTS going on and off. Pulled the car over and called my local BMW, note is car is still under the 50K warranty, And called the dealer ship. The manager Mike said he didn't have a car for me to lone, and I told him I am coming in anyway. i got there, it was a short drive.

Manager Mike was very professional, he look at the car and put the car in a bay, and came back in about five minutes, and said they would keep the car and I need a loner.
Mike said to me that 'this could be caused by TPMS sensors missing and this could be messing up the computer. I mention to him if the TPMS systems in the same system as the abs, dts and ebrake in the the same system then this car has major design flaw.
I explained to him the TPMS system is based of a radio wave form and the ads, dts, and ebreak system is base on sine wave form from a coil not a a radio wave and it gets sense from the tone ring in the wheel hubs or on the rotor.
I ask him to look and the sensor circuit of the abs/dts and ebrake. And he show me out to my loner, a black 528xi, with all the toys.
fun stuff,
I guess at some point i should tell Mike that I design foundation brakes for 18 wheelers, but I think I going to have a little fun first.

My guess I have a sensor issues or a ground and mybe a voltage concern.

this is going to be fun

I bet is your battery. How old is it?

Run a load test and replace if necessary.

Pick up the car the other , and this what the dealer came up with: found numerous K-CAN fault store in many modules, checked function of K-CAN bus system and found no communication,
Perform battery reset for 30 minutes, retested and found communication not possible with RDC/TPM control unit. Replace RDC/TPM control unit. Retested and cleared all codes. All is working now.
