Winter Wheel HELP!
I tried searching, but what I need to know is will a 17X8 wheel with +38MM offset work on a 335i? Based on a search, I know that a +40MM offset will not work. One member (with the +40MM offset) made it work but not before sanding down a part of his caliper (not an option for me).
TIA. |

Will let you know this weekend as I picking up E39 M5 reps this weekend and will test them when I get them home. Should fit bit it may be close with the wheel weights.

it is possible with 17" wheels U'll be only able to use old type weights. Happened to me once that the weights glued to the inside of the rim were touching the caliper. The tire shop had to remove them all from the front wheels and reweight them with old style outer weights. But it depends on the wheel/caliper design, offset etc., so try it first.
