Question Creative Autoworks Experience

Just going to post the facts here and let others draw conclusions:

1)Creative Autoworks was looking to get rid of their stock of Britalman exhausts as demonstrated b this post: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ight=britalman

2) They say all orders will be shipped within 24 to 48 hours of payment: " We have a few of the britalman 335 exhaust in stock, and we're letting them go for $995 plus shipping!!! Shipping will typically be around $60 or so. Give us a call to place your orders! These will all ship within 24 to 48 hours of your order!"

3) I ordered and payed through paypal on 10/20/2007:

From: service@paypal.com
To: Scottp999
Sent: Saturday, October 20, 2007 5:08 PM
Subject: Receipt for Your Payment to Creative Autoworks

Dear Scottp999,

This email confirms that you have paid Creative Autoworks (info@cresativeautoworks.com) $1,060.00 USD using PayPal.
This credit card transaction will appear on your bill as "PAYPAL *CREATIVEAUT".

4) 10 days so far and the order history on Creative Autoworks site is:
10/20/2007 Pending
10/23/2007 Processing

5) Sent email on 10/28 to ask if the order would ship this week. No answer yet.

I welcome comments from Creative Autoworks to get a status update on shipping. If out of stock, or not going to ship this week, I would like a refund so I can use a local vendor.

Thanks,
Scott

Hey Scott,

My apology for this delay, however due to this fire we've had the shop closed from Monday to Wednesday with SEMA cars and catching up we got behind. This is not a very good excuse, but it is the truth.

I did want to let you know that your exhaust has shipped and I will have a tracking number emailed to you.

Seriously guys not from Cali.
You may not be aware of the fires that have taken thousands of homes & possessions away in a matter of weeks.

Cut James & CreativeAuto some slack, their shop is right smack in the middle of the fires.
If you have issues be patient, and deal with it directly with them.

All these threads you see on them are because of slow responses and such, there is a logical explanation.
Hope you guys are considerate enough to understand, Thanks.

I understand. Believe me, if the thing is en-route as we speak, I am going to be singing their praises. This was not a bash CA thread, and I think it will turn out to be a positive story/feedback.

Once this shit settles down out here im sure youll get a response...
I dont care if he told u it would be there next day!! Seriusly look at the situation out here man how would u feel if you were evacuated for 3 days and had stay in a parking lot at angel stadium!
and u still expect your order first priority at that point!

Installed the exhaust today. So far I love it. I have to say that with all things considered, I am happy with James and Creative Auto Works and would order from them again.
