What's the fastest you've been in your 335?

I have an e92 335i N54 engine 6MT. Driving on the highway I noticed that I can cruise at ~85mph in 6th gear and I'm about 3k RPM. So this makes me wonder what the 335 is capable of. Redline is a tad shy of 7k RPM, and based on my observation of 85mph at 3k RPM, if you do the math that's almost 200mph at 7k (85mph divide by 3k RPM = 28.3 mph per 1,000 RPM. 28.3 x 7k redline is 198.3 mph)

I doubt the 335 will actually go that fast unless you have one hell of a tune, but I'm curious what the fastest anyone has gotten up to and what mods did you have done when you achieved that speed.

Fastest I've had mine up to was 142mph and it was still pulling. All I have done is a DCI.

What's the fastest you've gone in your 335? Please list mods and whether its a coupe or sedan, N54 or N55, and manual or automatic?

I have e90 335i 6MT. With JB+ on it. ( planning on JB4 Stage 3 and DCI as well) On speedometer i've had 148, but GPS was showing 144. 200 m/h is a little toooo much. lol.

Please keep in mind when travelling in speeds in excess of 100 mph... Even if the car was engineered for such, American roads and mindsets aren't always necessarily engineered for that, and any decision to do so in an uncontrolled environment caries inherent risk, even when minimized or optimized.

That said, I've had mine up to 123 GPS verified (130ish on spedo). It was an effortless task and was still pulling hard when I cut it off.

When I was trying (and I stress trying but not succeeding) to keep up with a Ferrari California, 125 indicated, which I'm sure is < 120. I didn't realize I was going that fast so the E92 is definitely comfortable with speed.

With my friend's car I got caught 155 in a 55, so the last thing I need is to lose my license again at this stage of the game. And I am no longer invincible, as I thought I was when I was 19.

You can buy a 335i for 15k, we don't drive Ferraris and Astons.

Actually new base 328i costs the same as loaded Accord. And used Accord would cost more then 328i. So that headlights comparison is not very accurate

he's talking about 335i though, not a 328i we all know only poor people drive 328i(s).
