Hey, no need for rude comments when i was just being cheeky. One would think you was the actual seller who i would understand if he responded like that to me.

I'm looking to have a full retrofit done on my car from a non idrive to a cic module and it would be great if anyone can point me in the right direction. I'm currently negotiating the parts but it appears i need to talk to a one of the cool veterans here before i make any purchases as there's talk of extra cabling and what not.

Leman is a very good seller with very reasonable prices. I dealt with him before.


If for a non idrive to idrive i would say makkan is your best bet. The amount of work involved is crazy , i know as i reccommended my friend to do it. Or if your feeling abit diy yourself this kit is very good value. This includes the combox with out combox you can't unlock many great futures.

I had been keeping an eye for these and without combox kit goes for around 550 to 600

Combox alone will cost another 300 on top.

Hey no problem and sorry for the response i gave back.

I've been doing a lot of reading and as far as i can tell, Makkan is an extremely busy guy as everyone seems to go to him. Problem is as i said, i got a close deadline to work with and would want the part delivered to where i'm getting it installed for obvious reasons. Believe it or not, i got quoted under £500 for the whole system probably excluding the wiring but i need to arrange the fitting at the same time to know exactly what's missing. Planning on upgrading to a widescreen in the near future.

I'm planning on seeing it right after new years so i only have a couple of days to research.

No disrespect to Leman, as i've come to notice, he's one of the Main Gurus on the site so apologies for my cheek. It's all new to me and as i've just forked out a lot of money buying the car, i got nothing left but dry humour.

If you've been quoted under £500 and having to update to widescreen later your buying a business system which are worthless.
The combox alone is worth just under £300 on its own with no nav

Makkan00 has recently upgraded my CIC Business Nav to CIC Pro Nav and they're chalk & cheese - if you pay £500 for Business Nav that's way OTT and you'll have to start all over again when you get fed up & want Pro - I've said it before but do it once & do it right

No matter how busy I am, I do not ignore other request.
However if you have made your mind to go to somebody else, that is your choice. I do not want to disclose others name, but I had few guys coming to me having issues after retrofitting from others. It varies from the correct coding to correct synchronizing the gps and antenna position.


Lastly, everybody has told you that you are wasting you money and time by going for business nav. When you try to upgrade it, nobody would buy that off you and hence £500 for whole kit at the first place.

See, that's the kind of advice i was looking for. I presumed you were busy as i saw the millions of requests on your page about fitting and work done. Apologies for that.

As far as the unit i'm looking to pick up, the guy does not seem to know much about what's there so i'm planning on going down to see it. But i thought i might start off by doing some research as i'm new to all this. Believe me I would prefer if you actually do the fitting but perhaps we can talk about the details in a PM.

I doubt you'll find many people prepared to spend any time & money installing a CCC Nav. I have a similar problem with Business Nav from an LCI, cost new was only a few hundred pounds short of Pro Nav but the market for a used Bus Nav is zip, yet it's still probably better than the CCC Pro Nav - supply and demand

If your car is under warranty then I would not sell it. As if you car goes for a major work and dealers try to update the car, they will need your CCC in.


If your car is out of the warranty then possible you can sell it piece by piece for those who have faulty scree, controller or HU.
