$130/month high for 08' e92 335xi insurance?

So I am 25, totalled a car three years ago, and USAA just quoted me $130/month for insurance on the 2008 e92 335xi I just bought. This seems high to me considering the 08' Evo MR was $126/month that I owned just a couple months ago and my 07' 335xi sedan was $96/month that I owned two years ago. Should I shop around or is $130/month actually an ok price?

and I am paying $200+/mo in NYC - your insurance rate largely depends on your ZIP code, age, marital status and credit worthiness

Oh, and add driving history to the list.

Insurance costs vary widely based upon these things. Also, your deductible and coverage limits play a huge role.

Car insurance is something that's too personalized and complicated to realistically compare on an international Internet forum.

That said, sounds cheap to me lol

It's a tad high. I'm paying 98 dollars a month with USAA for full coverage.

I got it down to $114/month with USAA after changing a couple things. I can live with that.

I pay somewhere around 170 a month for my 5 series and the 3 series. Even if you pay a little more, you can't beat USAA specially when it comes to filing a claim and getting your car fixed.

Your coupe will automatically be more than your sedans as they are a higher insurance category. The rest is based on cost of repair - my X3 is actually $100 more than my previous X5 just because they claim it is more money to repair it.

you are lucky. I'm paying 200 a month , 29 years old , clean record (no accidents or tickets in the last 10 years

If you were 24 and totalled a car in toronto most insurance will not even take you and the ones that do would charge you at least 400 a month. My buddy is in the same situation as you and he is paying 400 and it's not even full coverage for an audi

Sometimes makes me wish i could self insure with a bond or something since i haven't ever had any claims. Plus it wouldn't make any difference how many tickets u got.
