So I eliminated my visor clattering

So I'm pretty proud of myself- I strategically placed two small strips of foam weatherstripping to stop the clattering of the sunvisor on the hardtop- best three dollars I ever spent!

sucks it looks tacky. But then again, how many people pull down your visor to inspect it lol. Good job with the fix

Yeah literally dude! I stuck it in the wrong place the first time (story of my life) and it was a bitch to get off the visor- but the way I look at it it's the same color and virtually unnoticeable really... Better than those obnoxious bright green little chamois cloths I had jammed in there ha ha

Hahahaha - whoops!

It may look a little bit worse in the pictures honestly- it's only about a quarter of an inch wide by 1 inch long. I could probably even take the one toward the inside top of the visor off since I don't think that's really dampening the sound like the one toward the outer edge.

I'm no engineer, but I really think it did the trick!

Better to look at a couple little ugly pieces of black foam than to hear that annoying clatter every single road imperfection- my god what were they thinking? It's like these visors are made out of aluminum for cripes sake!

Im surprised every day by some of the problems I read on here. Little things too that BMW should be able to easily address. Especially that moon roof explosion thing.

Oh God tell me about it- although it hardly seems to be a BMW problem it's more of a glass moonroof problem it seems...many manufacturers have their share of these horror stories I am told.

All hardtops - and BMWs in general- seem to rattle at some point or another my friend - sorry to say.

Hopefully you don't have those issues down the line though- you are a creative mind however, so I'm sure you will come up with solutions should that time come
