after brake recall, any change in pedal feel?

I just picked up my vehicle after two weeks in the shop. They did the cam/brake recall and my brakes don't feel crisp. The pedal feel is mushy at best and takes a lot of foot force to stop the car. I only have 2400 miles on it and didn't feel this way when I took it in. Made another appointment next week to have them take a look at it again. Just wanted to see if anyone else feel their brakes were different after the recall work.

How did you know your vehicle was recalled?

Received the letter from BMW. Went in for a drivetrain malfunction, did several software updates and they did the work on the camshaft / vacuum pump oil supply.

There's also a BMW website to check for recall info:

Thanks. Was it all 2012-2014 3ers? According to all the literature, my car should have been recalled, but does not appear in the search. The dealership was puzzled as well.

If i remember correctly, its all 2012+ 4 cyclinder engine cars, and for 320I and 328I its 2012 - 2014 models. I have also not received a recall yet, called the dealers, told me all there was is a control unit recall, I was confused too.

I went in for service and all they did was the control unit recall. No mention of brakes.

According to the criteria mine should be on the list, but it doesn't show up on the website.

Recalls should be checked based on the VIN. You might get a letter and then find your car isn't affected.
