cigarette lighter

Hi, I have a 2009 335i. What is the voltage rating for my cigarette lighter?

I am trying to buy something that uses the car lighter socket but requires a minimum 15-ampere minimum power port rating. Do you know if my car lighter supports that?

Thanks in advance!

Garage List
Open the glovebox, loosen the 2 fasteners and take out the rear glovebox panel. On the backside of the panel is a card detailing all your fuses. Find the lighter icon and bam! It will tell you the fuse rating...
