welcome! you'll hear mixed reviews on retailers but personally I have had great experiences with Bimmian, getbmwparts, mod bargains, and ebay

WOW! 50 cars in 48 years?! Your either a fledgling car dealer, an insane motorhead, or haven't found an auto that suits you...yet. I wonder if this Bimmer will survive beyond a year. Anyways, you've come to the right spot man. There's so many places you can go to to upgrade parts, install mods, and basically go balls with your ride. It really all comes to what you want from your car. You want to look good, run better or both?

How many miles are on it?
Above 80k I would recommend replace the trans pan (it's the filter too) and mechatronic sleeve, with fresh, OE fluid. BMW claims it's lifetime fluid, but in this case, the "lifetime" is that of the transmission. Also, past 80k I would recommend spark plugs, and you'll need the socket too. Get the CTA one, no magnet to break and the rubber holder works really well. When you order the plugs, I would go ahead and order a backup ignition coil to put on a shelf in the garage. That way if it throws a misfire code you'll have one. The DIY is a piece of cake. Congrats, I own one and love it.
