WTD: Einsmann or PE exhaust for E92 335i

Hi all,

As above, looking for an exhaust and preferably the Einsmann or Performance Exhaust. But try me with what you have - thanks!

Hi... I could be tempted to sell mine as I may be selling my car and putting the original back on.

Bought from another forum member, you can even hear it on my car if you like.

Link to original advert: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ight=Eisenmann

Am based in London/Surrey so hopefully not too far.

Scaramanga may be selling his. But he'll be selling it. Not swapping for yours.

I don't need to "swap" with mine. I have a standard 335i exhaust and will not be "swapping" or letting go of it.

I am looking to buy one outright. Scaramanga's exhaust is one I am going to view and listen to as he has the Einsmann Sport exhaust and not the racing that I am after.

Tbh. Without sounding a bit off. If your looking do specifically for an exhaust for your car why dont you just spend the extra money and buy new? Exhausts for 335's are seriously rare. In 3 years of being on here iv genuinely only seen 4 exhausts for sale and two were mine. Good luck finding the exhaust you want mate. But I cant see it happening.

Sorry, I would have thought the reason I want it 2nd hand was clear and its due to not wanting to pay the full price for a new one and that I am not in a rush, hence able to bump this thread until someone is selling the one I am after.

Exhausts do rarely come up. I waited 2yrs for my eisenmann race exhaust - it's f*ckin loud with catless DP's.. Got some more resonators going in shortly to take the edge off. If your catless the eisenmann sport may work better...

Boz335i may be selling his PE soonish..

Thanks for the advice matey, I think a loud exhaust is something I need to get out of my system - but not if its as loud as your saying!

I'm not catless yet. But it may or may not be far off, depending on how long I keep the car!

I shall PM BOZ and ask him his plans - thanks for the heads-up!

Ah let us know about the resonator mod please Phil, I've got a DP install coming up shortly so I need to do something similar with my supersprint race exhausts, cheers

Resornators will also change the sound of the exhaust. So isnt it easier just to change the system you have instead rather than lose the noise you bought the exhaust for?

Just to add something to the above, I spoke to Evolve Automotive this morning and they said adding an exhaust or even removing the secondary cats will NOT release anymore power. The exhaust is primarily for sound alone.

(Tongue in cheek comment to follow)
If its too loud, maybe changing back to standard is the way to go (and selling your existing one to me :P)!!!

Or just remove downpipes for noise and volume then buy new tips. Job done.

Combined with a remap it will release more power - less back pressure.

I'm happy with the sound and volume - just not the drone between 2-3k revs. The resonators should tone this down. Running DP's will give you rasp, resonators will dial this out too. I can live with it as it stands - my gf less so!
