Tough call. Its ultimately going to come down to what you want. MB has definitely lessened the gap between AMG and M cars with regards to driving manners. If my guess is correct the M3 and C63 will continue the trend of the M3 being as precise as a surgical blade while the C63 is the far more muscular, brutish hoonmobile.

C63 black: 2 door; M3: 4 door. Depends on your needs (in your case I need a dose of what you have!!!!)

I had the 2010 C63 for 3 years, My Wife has the 2012 convertible. All around the C63 is way more fun. More Torque, More power, and an Exhaust note that will make you smile from ear to ear. Additionally the car sounds evil from the inside and outside.

Now the new M3 or 4 for 2014, different story in its own, looks like they have upped the ante and added torque in there new Twin Turbo 6.

the C63 was a treat to own while I had it.... I traded it for a M5

Good looking car; however would you spend that much on a used car if the M3 will be much cheaper and with newer tech? You already have the MB fix with your E.

If you like the track, the M3 will be a lot more fun, I think.

MBZ is putting out some great product lately.

I have the C63 Black... Its a true race car for the streets with coilover suspension, no back seat and a N/A 6.3 litre beast of an engine that sounds fucking amazing. The throttle response and handling of this car is completely different than normal AMG's and even M's. Its probably the best AMG Ive ever had (8 of them) but not the fastest. But its not about speed alone. The car just feels great to drive and push--- I dont think its as neutral as my C4S but its also RWD and you can really throttle the car thru minor understeer in higher speed turns and push out that rear end.

Id consider it a C63 on roids with a better suspension. Oh it also looks better with its wide body stance. I have no F80 experience but then who has??

I definitely agree!! What you prefer overall the C63 that you had or the M5? I think the little C63 is very very good cost benefit factor!
Im curious to see how torquey the new M3 will be! I had a 335 in '07 and loved that twin turbo engine .

I definitely agree with you! Its a lot of money for a used car and for a C class with the old body style if we are gonna look at that way.
And the M3 will be fresh with all new tech toys inside ! Uhmmm white/black/black wheels and ceramics ! uhmmm

This is an easy one for me, C63 black. Mainly because the Black will be way more rare then the M3. The c63 black is just beautiful. Also because of the sound.

Well if we talk about a serious coupe car (My opinion). Get a Porsche turbo or S (RWD), you will not regret it, as it is much fun to drive, especially the RWD S, pop that tail out and have such control over the car. If you want a 4 door, get an M3.

Either way, you cant go wrong with German engineering.

I cant really list any pros or cons for the M4, because I have not driven the M4 yet.

But my cons for the MB:

-No dual Clutch transmission (Please correct me if I am wrong) - which makes a huge difference!!!

-Ugly (But looks actually nicer than the M4)

Pros:

-Roast tires all day

-Lots of more power (Figure wise) compared to the M4/M3

Personally, after having experince with the F10 M5, I fear the M4 will be just as "numb" feeling compared to the MB. You will be wanting more from it. While it will be an epic car, if you desire more of an engagement, I dont think the M4 would work, but thats IMHO and my prediction.

I agree with you, that why I got a 991 Turbo S , and absolutely in love with that machine , a lot better than I expected !

And I will be looking on changing my c63 for either the black or the M3 not the M4

I think the overall package of the m3 will be great but at the same time will miss the V8 !

I can't wait to drive the M3/4 and have my opinion . I just sold my E92 M3 comp and already miss it

I'm gonna check out that black series tomorrow but I think will be to expensive for me now , would have to give my c63 plus $60k or more ;(

By history black series cars tend to hold their value pretty good so that's a plus
