I will say its one heck of a car, the styling is just not for me...

(I wasnt around for the original GT)

i've seen the new gt at car shows and on the road.

while it is a good looking car...there is something about the whole concept of retro-design on cars that does not work for me.

the design wsa ground-breaking 40 years ago...thats great.
if you really want to pay homage to something don't just make it "newer" do something original.

Its not like Ford doesnt have talent...their trucks are supposedly pretty good. and the stuff they have in europe is pretty cool as well. stuff like the Ka and Mondeo. even the first Taurus was pretty damn nice.

Given the choice of like it or not, I do like it. It's not one of my favorite cars and I think the Ford GT looks better and the GT40 Mark IV is better still.

The question is: Would you rather have this car, or an F430 spyder? Very comparitive cars....

I would go without a doubt F430 spyder

Classic design. Nice to see a "new" design that breaks the trend of computer assisted sharp edges in place of the organic round curves of the past.
