brake pedal release

My wife just purchased a MY13 F30 CPO. 13K miles. This is our first BMW in the house and loving it so far.

Question regards to the brake pedal. Brake pedal is pretty sensitive and works fine and all. However when we the brake pedal is pressed, releasing it suddenly makes a funny clunk noise. like the shaft is hitting housing or something. when the radio is on you cant hear it of course but when its dead silence, using the brakes and releasing suddenly makes the clunk noise. Slow releasing the brake does not make the noise.

Is this normal or should I take it in to the dealership?

I have actaully realized that too, but it doesn't seem to be too big of a problem, so i honestly just ignored it.

Yep, it does that. I notice it intermittently. Almost as if you threw a ping pong ball into the end of a vacuum cleaner hose.
