Use the button & the knurled doober on the turn-signal stalk... Two clicks on button gets you to Time window in the info display between speedo & tach. Knurled doober bumps time up or down.

iDrive or not it can still be done by the left stalk. With iDrive, it can be done through the screen also.

Does anyone know, for those of us with iDrive of BMW Assist, why our clocks don't set themselves to GPS time? The unit already knows the world's most accurate time. It would make sense for us to set the time zone though . . .

So far, the BMW is the easiest of all of the cars I have owned to set the time. Toggle the switch on the left stalk until the time set display appears.

When you set the time on the dash, the clock on the stereo changes with it. I did it today,(no i drive) and it took literally 30 seconds.

Not sure if your 325 has the same feature; you may need to see if a 325 owner shows up.

It's easy through the OBC or the the turn stalk. Unfortunately, I can't help you right now since my car is still at the body shop. If I had my car then I could easily provide you the step by step instructions.

When you press the Menu button on the OBC, I believe there is a selection for Date/Time.

Just leave it. 1. You will never be late. 2. In five months you won't have to reset it.

Good point!!!

Anywayz...have you check your owner's manual?
The instructions is on mine page 77.

just keep flick the middle cursor on the turn signal to the set time and press "BC" in.
flick the middle curser again to set the hour...then press "BC" to move on to set minutes, then flick the middle cursor to the right minutes (in this case you don't need)...finally press "BC" again and set.

ok... scroll the horizontal bar on your blinker until you see "clock" sign with "set", then press "BC" button on the blinker. Now you can move the horizontal bar to adjust hour, then "BC" again, then adjust minute, then "BC" to finish.

One thing though... for people that has navigation, why doesn't BMW just sync the clock with satellite? even my acura did that, and the clock automatically changes when i get into different time zones.
