Heh, neat.

I've gotta be honest with you though: 11.3k is crack pipe money for something like that, exclusivity notwithstanding.

Dallas is a weird depository of unloved cars though, so there's hope. I see a shocking number of stupid things in this town, it's a freak show where you see plenty of any of the following all too frequently, VehiCross, XLR, Allante, Reatta, Blackwood, Murano convertibles, even the wretched Acura X6 copy, I think they sold less than a thousand and most of them must be here.

That part I'm aware of. It has been my experience that when posting on CL, you have to price it slightly higher as people *ALWAYS* try and talk you down, unless you have some ridiculously low price, so I adjusted my price accordingly. Gives me the wiggle room I need to get to the price point I'm looking for.

No, it won't go for $11k, but the people contacting me are right at my price point, so all is working out nicely

pretty good. Now that's a REAL suv. Body on frame, 4WD, locking diffs, low range gear, high ground clearance. Not like BMW's piece of shit X3/X5/X6 turds.

I have a soft spot for those but was saddened by a lack of a manual trans. The blower makes it even more badass.

Since it shares the same drive train as the Trooper, and you could get a 5MT in a Trooper, there have been 3 that have been converted stateside. I should be adding another to the mix in about 2 weeks, as I'm more than halfway done. Transmission will be going on today

Ended up pulling the s/c and selling it to a guy in England, then sold the truck. Doing so enabled me to get my price and then some
